This is a very special product.  My son, Jake Ash passed away in a freak accident in 2020, at 31 years old. One of his passions was his beard, and making his own beard balm. He began making it and selling it in 2018. With the help of the doterra essential oils that he loved so much, he really perfected his recipe. I have the HONOR of keeping this passion project alive for my son. Here are his own words that he used to describe his beard balm:

"Bad Ash Beard Balm is all natural and 100% organic.
I started making this product just for myself, but once I really got into doing the research and putting some really great ingredients in this stuff to help my beard grow thicker and faster, I knew I had to try to get this out to more people.
If you want to grow a thick and full beard, this product will definitely help, it’s packed with essential oils that actually help soften your hair follicles and hair, it helps strengthen your hair, essential oils that promote hair growth, and even keep your beard clean, and healthy." -Jake Ash
I make this with love, and in honor of my son.  I hope you love it! We use Organic Shea butter, Organic Jojoba oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Pomegranate seed Oil, and then we add in a combination of essential oils that Jake researched to help with beard growth, beard health and beard softness.   Cedarwood, Patchouli, Tea Tree, Rosemary, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, and Douglas Fir. Very manly, very woodsy. Men Love it!!

Absolutely love this balm! It emulsifies perfectly in your hands before applying. Leaves my beard with a healthy sheen and holds hair from going rogue. This is my first review but I’m making it after my second purchase. I’ve actually referred a few friends to this brand for his high quality and great pricing. Side note: the whipped tallow is also great.
